Inhimillinen ote — Hoivatie's Podcast on Dialogical Guidance

Hoivatie Oy has launched Inhimillinen ote (A Humane Touch), a podcast exploring dialogical guidance — a method Hoivatie has been developing for a decade. The show is hosted by development director Mikko Oranen.

The first season consists of six episodes covering the foundations, practical applications, and theoretical background of dialogical guidance. Guests include Professor Emeritus Mikael Leiman, trainer Amira Bushnaief, psychotherapist Jarmo Salonen, and special education teacher Kati Kähkönen.

1. Encounters and listening — fundamentals of dialogical guidance. What do client and worker bring to a first meeting?

2. Trust, presence, and being heard. How to create conditions where the client experiences being heard?

3. Prerequisites and obstacles to agency. How to support the client's movement from object to subject position?
